Read Our StoryThe Daughters of St. Camillus is an international congregation founded in Rome, Italy, in 1892 by St. Giuseppina Vannini and Blessed Fr. Luigi Tezza, inspired by the charism of St. Camillus de Lellis (1550–1614), the patron saint of the sick, hospitals, and healthcare workers.
In 1984, responding to the healthcare needs of the local community, the congregation established St. Camillus Hospital in Chungakkunnu. Today, we are a trusted healthcare center for the people of Kelakam, Peravoor, Mananthavady, and the surrounding high-range areas of Kannur and Wayanad.
